Record turn out at the Brighton Marathon 2014!

The Brighton Marathon was held on Sunday 6th April and we were fortunate to have many runners taking part for The Cure & Action for Tay-Sachs (CATS) Foundation!

In total we had 14 people take on the 26.2 mile course to raise money for our fight against Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease and to also help us raise awareness of the charity. Together, the group of runners managed to raise over £3, 000, which is a fantastic achievement and will go a long way in helping the families we support.

We would like to say a big thank you to Bill, Gillian, Ian, Tina, Steve, Pete, Brian, Mark, James, Trefor, Fiona, Roy and Keith who all completed the race where some of them even posted a PB. We would also like to say a big thank you to all the families, friends and supporters who came along to cheer on our runners – your words or encouragement and clapping helped many of us through the last few miles! You can check out some photos of our runners below and on our Flickr page here.

If you like the idea of running the Brighton Marathon in 2015 then please get in touch as we have charity places secured for runners who support The CATS Foundation.
