Press – Runner’s World, October 2012

Runner’s World, who are the UK’s largest running magazine printed an article about THE CATS FOUNDATION and The Jelf CATS 10K Challenge!

Brian Watson was in contact with the magazine eariler this year and asked whether they would be able to help us spread the word about The Jelf CATS 10K Challenge to a large running audience – Runner’s World has a circulation of over 90, 000 per month. They were only too happy to help and we have appeared in the December issue of Runner’s World – you can see the article below.

We would like to thank Brian and Runner’s World for printing the article and to help us raise awareness of THE CATS FOUNDATION and The Jelf CATS 10K Challenge!

Daniel is the father of a little girl called Amelie who was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs in March 2011 when she was 15 months old. After slowly coming to terms with what the future held, Daniel, his wife Patricia and their friends started THE CATS FOUNDATION to raise awareness of the disease and to provide fund raising opportunities so that a potential treatment can be found.
