Back in February, six students from Trinity School in Lewisham were crowned as overall winners of “Design Ventura” which is an educational project held by the Design Museum in London. More infomration on Design Ventura can be found here.

As winners the students received goodies, certificates and a bespoke trophy but their main prize was to have their product manufactured and sold in the Design Museum shop.

On Thursday 13 June, ‘Pics Pins’ the winning design was launched in the Design Museum shop where the product can be bought. Pics Pins, are sets of architectural badges that feature the following structures: Big Ben, The Shard, BT Tower and Nelson’s Column. Each badge features a different section of a building so that you can ‘pic and mix’ to create your own unique building. The badges will be sold in packs of three at a retail price of £4 per pack. A special deal will enable customers to buy two packs of badges for £6.00. Pic Pins can also be bought online at the Design Museum shop here.

The students chose The CATS Foundation as one of the charities who would benefit from the sale of Pic Pins as all profits will be donated to charity. We are eternally grateful to the students from Trinity and would encourage anyone in London to head down to the Design Museum to buy some Pic Pins. The items will be available to buy in the shop and online until February 2014.
