Mascots for the Cardiff Blues
At THE CATS FOUNDATION we were able to arrange a day out for a little boy called Archie who was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs at the end of 2011.
As a big rugby fan (along with the rest of his family) we managed to organise for Archie and his big brother Jack to be mascots at the Cardiff Blues vs. Ulster rugby game on the 17th February. A lot of their family came down to watch the game and support the boys on their big night out!
At the match Jack got to lead the team out onto the pitch and both of them got to meet their favorite players – including Wales and British & Irish Lions seroquel no prescription players Jamie Roberts and Gavin Henson!
You can check out a few more pictures of the boys meeting the players below along with a short video of Jack running onto the pitch with the Cardiff Blues team. If you click on the thumbnail of the photos you can see a larger version of the images!
You can also read a short story about Archie here which appeared in Wales Online on the 16th February.
We would like to thank David Carlson, Jamie Roberts and the Cardiff Blues for helping us put this special evening on for the boys and their family – everyone had a great time!
