Danny going steadily13in13 Challenge

13 in 13 Blog – Week 21 – 22

Danny going steadily

We have both spent the last couple of weeks working out a route for our next marathon and to make sure we are in good shape for the finish – we are going to be finishing in front of 80, 000 people at Wembley which is going to be an amazing experience!

Dan has been busy working on his map skills to make sure we don’t get lost on our way while I’ve been training hard and I’m now weighing the lightest so far during our challenge!

Week 21 – 22 of the challenge

The run up to the Saracens Marathon has been surprisingly quiet with all the work being put in (training and with Saracens) in the prior weeks. We’ve spent the week relaxing, taking on carbs and watching the number of tickets sold at Wembley rise and rise. At the latest count they’re on for a world record attendance for a rugby match of about 85,000 – so it’s buy synthroid online going to be a great day out and great publicity for the charity.

We haven’t had much time to meet over the past few weeks with Amelie having a feeding tube fitted, so we caught up mid-week to discuss the plan for Saracens. The route has been planned and the weather looks to be slightly cooler than the abnormal highs we’ve had this week, which is great news for running! All we’ve got to do now is get through the five hours (or so) or running without getting lost and arrive at half time (we’ve been given very specific targets!) to finish off the run round the pitch.

It should be a great day out and we’re both hoping to fit in a quick drink (or two) after the run. Hopefully see you there.
