Legal & General Fundraising Day

Legal & General Fundraising Day

Sarah Gauci recently arranged for a charity fundraising day to take place for THE CATS FOUNDATION at the Legal & General office in Cardiff.

Sarah wrote the below about how the day went.

“During the day we had the charity committee doing a number of things, Leanne was doing nail appointments – people could either have french manicure or normal polish, that raised about £150. Then quite a few people made cakes and pastries for the bake sale which was also a massive success.

We loaned the tea and coffee trolley from the meeting room area so we could also get bottomless coffee and tea all day at a charge of £1.50 per person. And then to round things off we had a raffle, the winning prize being a day off and then a number of other prizes ranging from dvds, to boxes of chocolates, dvds, bottles of wine, sweets.

This is one of the biggest amounts we’ve ever won as a department fun day, but not only that it really has raised the awareness of Tay-Sachs just in Legal and General alone and I feel proud that I was a part of arranging it!”

We would like to thank Sarah and all her colleagues for raising so much money for THE CATS FOUNDATION – in total the final amount was £1,064.22!
